How many steps are available in the brightness control?

The brightness control can be time scheduled or depending of the light sensor measures.

In case you are using the time schedule option, you can select the brightness in steps of 30 minutes.

In case you use the sensor measures, you can define as many steps as you want. Also, you can tell the system to fill the steps automatically so that you are sure that the scaling is linear.
